Rizvan “Riz” Quadri started his career in education as a teacher in Port Arthur ISD, working to improve educational outcomes in a low-performing, low socio-economic school system. He left Port Arthur ISD as principal of Robert E. Lee Elementary, and began his tenure in Fort Bend ISD as principal of Marcario Garcia Middle School from 2013-2017.  He then served as principal of Stephen F. Austin High School for the next four years, creating a campus culture that thrived on high student performance.  Riz is a four-time graduate of Lamar University.  He holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Master’s degree in Administration, a second Master’s degree in Secondary Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, (minor-Psychology).


With 21 years of experience as an educator, and a track record of success spanning from classroom teacher to principalships in Port Arthur ISD, from AP roles in Port Neches-Groves ISD, and onward to school principal roles in Fort Bend ISD from 2013-2021, Riz brings unparalleled education expertise to the Fort Bend ISD school board.

Throughout his tenure as principal, Riz Quadri consistently met or exceeded performance metrics, demonstrating his accountability to student outcomes and the community. His involvement in various committees and initiatives exemplifies his accountability and proactive engagement in enhancing educational practices.
